About SolarHomeFinder
Independent solar guidance before you speak with an installer
SolarHomeFinder helps homeowners understand solar panels, batteries, pool loads and quotes in plain language. When someone chooses to ask for help, we structure the request and route it only with clear consent.
Ask for a solar estimate Why this exists
Solar quotes are hard to compare when every installer explains the numbers differently. We are building a simple education and lead-quality layer: homeowners get clearer guidance first, and installers receive better-context requests later. SolarHomeFinder is not an installer and does not pretend an online estimate replaces a technical survey.

Process
How the service works
1 Learn without pressure
Guides, calculators and FAQs explain solar topics in plain language, including bills, pools, air conditioning, batteries and quote assumptions.
2 Ask only when ready
A homeowner can request an estimate, ask a solar question, or subscribe to updates. Contact details are collected only through forms with clear consent.
3 We review before routing
Requests are checked for quality, source and intent before they are routed to a suitable installer or kept for manual follow-up.
Transparency
What we do for transparency
- We record the source page, campaign, referrer and timestamp for each request.
- We keep the municipality, request type, solar potential score and consent record.
- We separate obvious spam/bot submissions from real homeowner questions.
- We keep partner routing status so a lead can be audited before any commercial agreement.
